Can-Am Off-Road’s Riding The Red Centre

Owlpine Group and Can-Am brought together an all-star outback crew, made up of Toby Price, Shaun Whale, Courtney Atkinson & Todd Waters to embark on an unforgettable adventure in the Middle of Australia.

Before there was The Dakar Rally, there was The Finke Desert Race. It‚Äôs this terrain that created the legend that is Toby Price.

Opting to hang around and spend some time in the Northern Territory after taking out his first four-wheel win at The Finke Desert Race, adding to his tally of another six wins on two-wheels, Toby invited along his three mates for a two-day trip.

Can-Am Off-Road wanted to bring together a group of boys all from the top of their fields, so we recruited Shaun Whale from 4WD24/7, Australian Motocross Champion Todd Waters and Adventure Athlete Courtney Atkinson to join Toby in the Northern Territory.

THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HANG WITH US LEGENDS

Global Jet International Website

Work

Global Jet International tapped Owlpine Group to re-shape their branding and UX experience online, to make flying more captivating than ever before.

For the highly competitive aviation industry, a digital presence is everything in order to keep a business flying above the rest. That’s why Global Jet International came to us, we had all the bells and whistles to take them further than ever before.

In order for Owlpine Group to bring this project to life, we dove straight into the deep end, finding out everything we needed to know about Global Jet International. From interviews to calls, to emails and google doc collaborations, we got to know the whole kit and caboodle that made up their aviation show. And with limited photo and video content in the bank, we made it our mission to capture content that would make every draw drop.

Once the information was in and the content at bay, the challenge was to create a unique website interface that was simple yet unforgettable.

Designing a website like this is no easy feat, but who were we to say we weren’t up for the challenge. Filled with stunning video content throughout each page, with information laid for easy reading, we knew we had created something special.

Another major part of the project was the branding of Global Jet International. From sixteen concepts initially, to just one at the end, Owlpine Group showed truly how strategic thinking, research collaboration and working closely with our client is truly done.

Global Jet International had a brand new look, one that would take them to infinity and beyond.

Owlpine Group combine the end-to-end capabilities of a large scale agency with the attitude and approach of a nimble independent.

Thank you to Mick and the entire Global Jet International Team for trusting our team to bring this to life!

Can-Am’s Just Down The Road

Work

Earlier in 2020 we embarked on a week-long project with our mates at BRP for Can-Am Off-Road Australia with Ambassador Toby Price to showcase what’s on offer for recreational riders in their own backyard!

More than just an Aussie saying, ‚ÄúJust Down the Road‚ÄĚ is a display of what our great country has to offer, right on our doorstep.

In Australia it doesn’t end at a fence line, we’re blessed with a backyard spanning more than seven million square kilometres, comprising every single conceivable landscape.

Can-Am Off-Road wanted to show Australian’s that you can go just down the road to reach your local Recreational Park and that a fun-filled weekend on four-wheels really isn’t that far away… and we did just that.

The silver lining to this project is that Australian’s were crying out for our support as they recover from not only the effects of the pandemic, but droughts, fires, floods and everything in between.

The full Campaign was premiered on selected channels for 24-hours time and then rolled out over the following weeks, with an 8-minute episode dropping each Monday night on the Can-Am Off-Road Facebook Page & Global YouTube Channel.

As well as shooting and editing the full Campaign & Photography, created the branding for the campaign, recruited the Talent, compiled low-fi digital social assets and even transported the Can-Am Maverick X3 from Gold Coast to Sydney and back!

Owlpine Group also manage BRP Australia’s Social Media Channels and we made sure that the Campaign wasn’t one to be scrolled past.¬†

Owlpine Group combine the end-to-end capabilities of a large scale agency with the attitude and approach of a nimble independent.

Thank you BRP for trusting our team to bring this campaign this to life!

BFGoodrich Celebrate 150 Years

Work

As our mates at BFGoodrich celebrated 150 years in 2020, they wanted to ask their audience… What are you building for?

Following the success of the Escape with Us Campaign we produced for BFG, they brought us back on board to create their headline Campaign for their 150 Years Celebration.

With the tagline that everything has changed, yet nothing is different, Owlpine Group created a concept of tying together their global archival footage with some new footage with current ambassadors and products.

After delving through thousands of hours of footage and images, we created a Storyboard for the overarching 1:30 Campaign Video and the 0:60 versions for their 5 Target Audiences: 4X4, Transport, Road Cars, Heritage Cars & SXS.

Working with the Ambassadors and Customers for the clip, we travelled around the country capturing footage and stills to produce the campaign, and it looks pretty damn good if we do say so ourselves.

Owlpine Group combine the end-to-end capabilities of a large scale agency with the attitude and approach of a nimble independent.

Thank you BFGoodrich for letting us celebrate 150 Years of success with you.

Woodstock Bourbon: Digital Supercars ROI

Work

Owlpine Group were engaged by the iconic brand Woodstock Bourbon, owned by international beverage powerhouse Asahi, to bring to life and amplify their partnership with Supercars race team Tekno Autosports in 2017.

Woodstock Bourbon Supercar Build & Partnership Announcement

Woodstock Bourbon threw their full support behind Tekno Racing, backing the racing team as their major sponsor for the 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. To announce Woodstock Bourbon’s partnership with Tekno Racing, Owlpine Group created a time-lapse build video over the course of a four week period to showcase the Number 19 Supercar machine being bought to life ahead of Round 1 of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship in Adelaide.

Owlpine Group developed a Press Release in-house, to announce the news to Australian Media, Supercars Fans, Partners and Subscribers. The result was beyond what Woodstock Bourbon anticipated, reaching a number of mainstream media outlets and generating a significant amount of reach and hype within the social arena.

Woodstock Bourbon Supercar Recap Videos & Digital Content Creation

Owlpine Group captured a series of videos at the major Virgin Australia Supercars Championship rounds; Townsville 400, Sandown 500, Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600 and Newcastle 500 Supercar events.

Our tailored recap videos featured Tekno Autosports driver Will Davison wrapping up his weekend on track, as well as the Pit Tours, Signings, Corporate Hospitality and more that Woodstock Bourbon staff and customers participated in over the race weekend.

On these race weekends, Owlpine Group also captured and published tailored digital content for Woodstock Bourbon which was published on Woodstock Bourbon’s Facebook Page.

Woodstock Bourbon Rebranding Livery Launch

At the Townsville 400 round of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Woodstock Bourbon released their new look livery in conjunction with the release of their newly rebranded brand identity and can design. Owlpine Group produced a thorough and engaging press release that announced the news!

When working within the Supercar arena it presents many challenges and tight timelines with many moving parts and tight television rights, Owlpine Group only had a couple of hours to complete and publish the short revealing video to match up with the press release, and this was cut down to a couple of minutes once we got to the Townsville circuit.

Owlpine Group’s creative team produced the video in just a couple of hours and received approval to publish it on all aligning platforms on the same day.

Woodstock Bourbon BWS In Store Promotional Videos

Woodstock Bourbon engaged Owlpine Group to capture and produce two competition videos over the course of the year, as Woodstock Bourbon gave away Supercar test drives and one of the last Australian Holden SS Commodores. For both competition videos there was 3 different versions, for potential entrants to enter via Social Media and two more for in stall BWS staff to promote the product, both general and detailed with POS information.

The content was layered with prize information, graphics on how to enter, subtitles, POS details, T&C’s and more. Owlpine Group also delivered a competition winner video from the test drives, showing the experiences that the winners had and their journey to the prize.

In addition to the competition videos, Owlpine Group also developed an Easy Roller product video for BWS staff, which differed from the regular mail-out information that other companies provide.

Owlpine Group combine the end-to-end capabilities of a large scale agency with the attitude and approach of a nimble independent.

Adelaide 500 Split Rhythm

Work

A world first event that divides Australia’s best pro-riders for cash, prizes and Split Rhythm fame.

Owlpine Group was given free reign by the Adelaide 500 team and South Australian Government to establish an event which would separate itself from all other events around the globe.

After numerous amounts of coffees, our team of creatives developed the Split Rhythm concept with the goal of attracting a new, younger, GenY audience to the Adelaide 500 event.

Owlpine Group worked with one of Australia’s top track builders, Malcolm Cash, to give the riders and fans an experience they would not forget.

Owlpine Group’s Split Rhythm team, led by Dave Ellis, built the track in just over 10 days in preparation for the event.

The Split Rhythm track was developed for a two-rider head to head race which consists of a left and right mirrored lanes, giving each rider an equal opportunity of taking home a chunk of the $30,000 pool of sweet cash.

Owlpine Group worked with the South Australian Government to design, develop and present the event to 300,000 attendees. This is no simple task. The site transforms over time into different layers; design, recruitment, safety protocols, construction, testing, practice, racing and content output.

Developing a world first event isn’t all we do at Owlpine Group (cough) we sought and connected many valued partners to create the event, including the South Australian Government, New Holland Agriculture, Monster Energy, Fox, Michelin Tyres, Blundstone, and Penrite Oil, to bring the Split Rhythm project to life and give their companies and experience they would never forget.

Fans were constantly kept up to date through the Split Rhythm Instagram & Facebook, as well as features on the Adelaide 500 Pages.

We captured key still and moving images from each session and race which was posted to the dedicated social media channels, the information within each post included results, event updates, rider updates, sponsor mentions and time schedules. The licensed files for the event became immediately available for all riders, event partners and mainstream media outlets to be utilised.

With just under 300,000 event attendees streaming through the gates, the Split Rhythm event was labeled as a must see and one of the forefronts of new and exciting entertainment on display at the Supercars Championship Round.

Alongside the South Australian Government, we’re continuing to bring the best 2-wheel events to an entire motorsport community that are hungry for more.

Owlpine Group combine the end-to-end capabilities of a large scale agency with the attitude and approach of a nimble independent.

This was fun, thank you to the South Australian Government for trusting us to bring this amazing event to life.
