A dual Supercars Champion and Bathurst 1000 Winner, Shane Van Gisbergen was born to race.

When the Kiwi finally decided to cross the Tasman to Australia, it was on track that a star was born.

In his very first year with Triple Eight Race Engineering, SVG won the 2016 Supercars Drivers Championship. Talk about a first impression.

Drift King and master of the burnout, SVG showed he was a force to be reckoned with in 2016, also bringing home the PIRTEK Enduro Cup and the Jason Richards Trophy.

Adding to his already impressive resume, SVG broke through for a long-awaited maiden victory in the 2020 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, alongside co-driver, Garth ‘GT’ Tander.

Furthermore, the kiwi added another Supercars Championship to his name in 2021, which included an impressive 14 wins and 9 additional podiums from 30 races.

"Rubbing is racing."
